Doug Sloan is one of the most important writers in Power ranger history. He was invovled the show since th beginning.He even had a few acting roles in the show. He played Kimberly's Uncle Steve in one episode an the vioce to Perince Gasket. Doug became the story editor of PR a few seasons into its deveopment. He also served as a story editor with PR's take off,VR Troopers. Doug wa responsible for most of the early stories of the Power Rangers universe. He really helped to build the backbone of the franchise
He left the frachise with his partner Ann Autsin midway through turbo (for unknown reasons). He want on to successsvilly become a Tv movie producer. He and Ann Austin won an award for the movie Johnny Tsunami. Recently when disney released the old production team and moved priduction to New Zeland ( and made it non union) Doug and ann were brough back. Now along with Ann Sloan became the showrunner for Power Rangers Ninja Storm. Currently Sloan is working on Dino Thunder and plans to leave the franchise once more at the end of the current season. Dougs accomplishments should be saluted.
